To-Kalon Yacht
Project completed while at Designs By Human. Role: Junior Designer.
This 30-meter Horizon FD102 refit, was completed in November 2025. We focused on giving the yacht a light and refreshing update. The clients requested new furnishings, soft goods, and artwork, which included updating the day head walls, salon rug, pillows, dining chairs, and barstools. The guest cabins received new linens and towels, while the master cabin was upgraded with a refreshed upholstered wall panel and seat cushion. The aft deck was also enhanced with new sofas, baskets, and pillows.

1 The Barstools. We repurposed the previous barstool metal base and designed a seat to fit seamlessly.
2 The Dining Chairs. Custom made and tailored to the existing table. Upholstered seat and back with walnut wood frame.
3 The Aft Deck Sofas. White powder coated metal framing. Value engineering the existing legs to fit onto new design. New upholstered cushions and pillows.
The Day Head
The clients have a deep love for wine country. As paintings of vineyards line the hallway leading to the day head, it sparked an idea. This inspired a hand-painted plaster mural that evokes an abstract watercolor landscape. Created with five layers of lime wash and finished with a protective wax topcoat, it blends seamlessly into the space.
Solutions
For the day head mural, we partnered with Callidus Guild, a wallcovering studio based in NYC. They were a joy to work with from the very first mockup to the final installation. Collaborating with talented artisans adds so much heart and soul to a project.
